Este 23 de agosto, la BBC publicó una lista de las 100 mejores películas de todo el mundo estrenadas entre 2000 y 2016 (la inclusión del año 2000 fue una decisión, no un error). Para dar con las películas, o intentar llegar a un ranking más o menos justo, los editores de la sección cultura convocaron a 177 de críticos y académicos de todo el mundo.

La intención del estudio fue demostrar que, aunque a veces parece que no, en los últimos años también se han hecho grandes películas que algún día entrarán en la categoría de “clásicos”. Aquí están las elegidas:
